Judge Brack is one of the most recognizable and fun loving old bachelors in the entire town. At the age of forty-five, Brack still enjoys the life of the consummate, worldly unmarried man. He holds parties that are infamous in the town for their audacity and boisterousness.
Brack is good friends with Jorgen Tesman, and apparently has a past with Hedda Tesman as well. When we are introduced to him, he has come to the Tesman home to deliver some rather unfortunate news to the newlywed couple.
