The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
adapted by Simon Stephens from the novel by Mark Haddon

Directed and Introduced by Barbie Insua

"The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc.

We are plunged into the world of Christopher Boone, a 15-year-old who is brilliant at math but, being on the autism spectrum, is ill-equipped to navigate everyday life. The action opens with Christopher standing over the dead body of his neighbor's dog. Accused falsely of the dog's killing, he sets out to identify the true culprit, leading him to a shattering discovery and taking him on a trip that will change his life. Like all the best whodunits, the real subject is the mind of the detective. And what a mind it is! Come see this Tony Award-winning play, and witness Christopher’s journey through the endless obstacle course that is his daily life.

Please Note: masking in all indoor settings, with the exception of instructional spaces, will be voluntary effective Monday, October 3, 2022.

This change to the Institute's campus masking requirements, as first outlined in a September 1 community message, aligns with local public health directives and guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It also responds to improving trends in COVID-19 case activity on campus and in the local community.

Please note that while the Institute will no longer require masking in all indoor settings or at large outdoor events, all members of the Caltech community who wish to continue to wear a mask are encouraged to do so. Please see the Caltech Together website for more information.
