Japan Internship Information Seminar

Wednesday, October 5, 2016 12 noon – 1:30pm
Dabney Lounge

The Caltech Japan Summer Internship Program places you in a 10-week internship with a major corporation. This year’s student participants will show slides and talk about their experience. Company representatives, faculty and staff will join the meeting. Lunch will be provided.

Past internships have included companies such as:

o Kaneka
o Mitsubishi Electric
o NTT (Japan’s equivalent to AT&T)
o NTT Docomo
o Sumitomo Chemical Co., Ltd.
o Toshiba
o Tosoh
o Kao

All expenses paid, and you typically earn a stipend equivalent to a full-time employee.

If you speak some Japanese, are taking a class or are interested in taking Japanese as a Sophomore, Junior or graduate student, then you may qualify.

Come to the information seminar to learn more about the program, the requirements, and the application process.

Interns from last summer will give talk about their research, share stories, show pictures, and answer questions.

Spaces are limited—RSVP to elvington@hss.caltech.edu by Friday, October 11th.
For questions, contact Dr. Kayoko Hirata.
