Who Are We?

TACIT (Theater Arts at CIT)
is a co-curricular performance group dedicated to exploring the craft of theater through a combination of classes and hands-on production-focused opportunities.
TACIT is open to the entire Caltech/JPL community offering its members a unique and challenging chance to improve problem solving, communication, and leadership skills through acting, stage production, movement, voice, and playwriting.
All aspects of theater are open to involvement: acting, stage crew, set construction, costumes, light and sound operation, properties, house management, and publicity, as well as working with professionals in areas of theater design: set, light, sound, costume, and music.

Three women:
the first to be married to a rich Spanish noble,
the second destined to live out her life in confinement,
 the third the most famous courtesan in the South.

A Colonel, his Lieutenant, a sailor, and a carpetbagger in town
looking for love, danger, and romance.
Add to the mix Tejano Spanish aristocracy, servants, revelers, thieves.


Live Cajun Creole music! A cast of forty! A clash of honor & morals!

What happens when these women push beyond social boundaries in search of fulfillment in this postbellum romance-adventure?
