Rossum's Universal Robots (R.U.R.)

Performances November 12, 13, and 14 at 8pm, & November 15 at 2:30pm and 7:30pm in Dabney Lounge

Written in 1924 by Czech playwright Karel Capek, the play deals with issues of totalitarian systems, robots and the human soul.

Who Are We?

TACIT (Theater Arts at CIT) is a co-curricular performance group devoted to exploring the craft of theater through a combination of classes and hands-on production-focused opportunities. TACIT is open to the entire Caltech/JPL community and offers its members a unique and challenging chance to improve problem solving, communication, and leadership skills through acting, stage production, movement, voice, and playwriting. All aspects of theater are open to involvement: acting, stage crew, set construction, costumes, light and sound operation, properties, house management, and publicity as well as working with professionals in areas of theater design: set, light, sound, costume, and music.
