 The Book of Will

"The Book of Will" is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc.

Three years after the death of Shakespeare, Henry Condell, John Heminges, and Richard Burbage, all members of Will's theatrical troupe, are gathered in a tavern. Somewhat in their cups, they loudly lament the dastardly proliferation of inaccurate knockoffs of Will's plays. The increasing appearance of these inferior works, both on the boards and in print, spur these friends to attempt to assemble and publish the true versions of the Bard's plays. Gunderson's dramatic take on this moment is told in this rollicking love letter to the actors, friends, and publishers who—beset by a sea of troubles—put together the First Folio.

Please Note: masking in all indoor settings, with the exception of instructional spaces, will be voluntary effective Monday, October 3, 2022.

This change to the Institute's campus masking requirements, as first outlined in a September 1 community message, aligns with local public health directives and guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It also responds to improving trends in COVID-19 case activity on campus and in the local community.
