Zoom Monologue Party!

The Caltech Playreaders present an evening of monologues. Come join us! Anyone is welcome to contribute a monologue or scene! Even if you're already on our casting rolls, we'd love to see you again here. We will be recording this and we encourage both those new to Playreaders and old hands to join the party!

Monologue must be short (up to 3 minutes) and public-domain (this means they must be from plays that were published in 1924 or earlier). If you want to contribute a scene, anyone in a scene together must live in the same household, and be able to communicate in one Zoom window. There is no need to memorize, you can have script in hand.

If you wish to perform a monologue or scene please email your name and first-choice of monologue (and perhaps second-choice?) and an electronic copy of your selection to caltech.playreaders@gmail.com ASAP but no later than Sunday, October 7 at 12:00 noon.

The Tech Stuff

We will have a Zoom Technical Rehearsal on Sunday, October 11, at noon. A few days beforehand we will send the rehearsal Zoom invitation link to all those signed up to perform.
