CAMPUS VACCINATION POLICY: Beginning October 18, 2021, all attendees at indoor or outdoor social events on campus must be fully vaccinated and must present proof of full vaccination status at entry to the event. Proof of a negative PCR test result from within 72 hours prior to the event will be accepted only for those individuals who have an exemption. Individuals who are not yet eligible to receive a vaccine (ages 11 and younger) are not required to show proof of vaccination or provide pre-entry testing results. Tom Stoppard weaves together parody, pastiche and puns to create this romp that is a spoof of Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap and a satire about theatre critics. The play begins as two critics, Birdboot and Moon, take their seats to watch and review what they expect will be a third-rate murder mystery. The critics, pompous and self-important (think Statler and Waldorf from The Muppet Show), comment incessantly during the action of the play, revealing more about their own faults, than those of the play. Join us for mayhem and verbal pyrotechnics when Birdboot and Moon are drawn across the footlights and into the action.
