We would like to invite you to attend the following gatherings on
Saturday, July 29, 1995.
(1) 4:30pm - 6:00pm
Chicago Loop and Michigan Lake boat tour ($10)
Place to meet: Wendella Sightseeing Boats, 400 N. Michigan Ave.,
just north of the Chicago River.
Time to meet: 4:00pm.
(2) 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Dinner at Chinatown ($10-$15)
Tentative Place: Lee Wing Wha Resturant at China Square.
You may attend either of these events or both.
The agenda of the gatherings includes:
* Saying farwell to Li Wenshuo, who is leaving Chicago in August;
* Electing acting president;
* Setting up guidelines for electing association officials;
* Discussing strategies to improve our public relations;
* Discussing issues concerning USTC Alumni Foudation;
* Planning for the new student orientation to be held in September;
* Any topic you want to talk about.
So bring your ideas and appetite to the meeting!
