1. Update on Fermi Lab Picnic .......................................

Since our first announcement for the Fermi Lab picnic, over 30
alumni have signed up for this event. If you want to join us, please
contact your nearest coordinator (see the end of this message) at your
earliest convenience.

We have put some beautiful pictures of Fermi Lab there. For your
convenience, we have also put a simple map and directions to our
picnic site on our home page.
We would like to remind you of the schedule of our picnic gathering:
Time to meet:
10:30am, Saturday, May 20, 1995.
Place to meet:
Fermi Lab (see directions on our WWW home page or contact
your local coordinator).
Event: 1. BBQ lunch;
2. Games -- volleyball, basketball, tennis, soccer, etc;
3. Visit Wilson Hall -- admisnistration building of the
Fermi Lab;
4. Visit a nearby forest preserve.
Cost: $5 per person.

Many people from the University of Chicago and elsewhere will participate
in the meeting on the Behavior of Financial Markets (5/18-5/20). This
Conference will include a number of people from financial institutions,
some of whom are looking for people to hire.
To facilitate meetings between potential employers and those of you
who are interested in working in the financial community we are collecting
resumes. If you are interested in having your resume presented to potential
employers, please provide a one page vita to Brenda Thomas (RI 225) before
Wednesday May 17.
