Picnic at Fermi Lab on May 20
=============================
USTC Alumni Association
in Chicago Area

Dear USTC Alumni:

We are pleased to announce our new Spring picnic at Fermi Lab on
May 20, 1995. Fermi Lab is located on a 6,800-acre site about 35 miles
west of Chicago. You may have known Fermi Lab for its discovery of the
top quark or its most powerful particle accelerator in the world, but
you may not know it's also a land of scenery. We paid a visit to the
lab last weekend and was impressed by its beauty and serenity. It has
a nice picnic area, huge playground, plenty of sporting facilities
(including outdoor sandy volleyball courts, basketball courts, and
tennis courts), and several small ponds. You can also hike through the
tallgrass prairie, enjoy birdwatching or buffalo-gazing.

Here is our schedule:

Time: Saturday, May 20, 1995.
Place: Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory.
(We will send out directions later)
Event: BBQ lunch, games and more.
Cost: $5 per person.
