Thanks for your interest in the kick-off party for USTC Alumni
Association in Chicago Area. Already nearly 60 USTC alumni have
registered for this event. Here we would like to remind you:

1212 E. 59th St. (Northeast corner of the intersection of S. Woodlawn
Ave. and E. 59th St.)

Our party will feature:
1) Get-to-know-each-other session -- meet your old buddies and
make new friends;
2) Free speech session -- bring your ideas to our association.
3) Karaoke competition -- sing your favorite songs;
4) Plenty of snacks and drinks -- just $2.00/person;

*** Directions to the Party ***
The University of Chicago can be accessed via two expressways, I-90/94
(Dan Ryan Expressway) and Lake Shore Drive (US 41).
*** From I-90/94:
1. Exit to Garfield Boulevard (5500 South) heading east.
2. After passing Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, keep right and
follow the main route. You will be on the Midway Plaisance (heading
east).
3. Follow the Midway to Woodlawn Avenue.
4. Turn Left (north) on Woodlawn Avenue.
5. Follow Woodlawn to 59th Street.
*** From Lake Shore Drive:
1. Turn right on 57th Drive (heading west). Stay on the main route,
which immediately curves left (heading south), passing 2 stop
lights.
2. Turn right on the Midway Plaisance (heading west). There is a
sign here pointing to the University of Chicago.
3. Follow the Midway under some train tracks to Woodlawn
Avenue. Woodlawn is the second streetlight after the traintracks.
4. Turn right (north) on Woodlawn Avenue.
5. Follow Woodlawn to 59th Street.
*** Parking ***
You may find plenty of street parking around the Ida Noyes Hall. There
is also a visitor parking lot on the east side of Woodlawn, next to
the Ida Noyes Hall, between 59th and 58th streets.
