my research is focused on the development of millimeter wavelength instrumentation to study the early universe!

I am currently working on the TIME-pilot project at caltech!  The time pilot instrument is a mm-wavelength spectrometer designed to do intensity mapping of C+ from the epoch of reionization (that’s when the first stars and galaxies turned on and ionized the neutral hydrogen in our universe.

I am also a member of the south pole telescope collaboration.  the south pole telescope looks at the cosmic microwave background (the oldest light we can see)!   you can check out our latest paper here: http://arxiv.org/abs/1411.1042
