The motor and sensory tracts in the vicinity of the dorsal clusters are now both present (stage 15). In the first focal plane, we now see black axons and growth cones on top of (interior to) the dorsal cluster cells (arrows). In the second focal plane, we see the brown sensory axons extending proximally from these dorsal clusters. In the middle segment, a brownish-black bundle is observed that might be a combined motor/sensory tract. Perhaps the motor axons diverge from the sensory axons at about this point (arrow).
