using FDTD simulation software - Electron beam lithography Leica EBPG 5000+ and electron beam writer based on Hitachi 3500 SEM - Photolithography Heidelberg DWL laser writer system for making masks; Mask aligner - Dry etching RIE, ICPRIE - Electrode patterning Thermal evaporator and Electron beam evaporator - Furnace oxidation, SiO2 film deposition, Wet chemical etching. - Ion implantation and SIMS - Characteristic measurement of the laser devices, including the micro photoluminescence setup and time resolved measurement using streak camera.
