We describe F-crystals with self-dual structure over base schemes of characteristic p. We will present a version of Katz's Newton-Hodge Filtration Theorem for self-dual F-crystals. This result can be thought of as a group theoretical generalization of the original Newton-Hodge Filtration Theorem for orthogonal and symplectic groups.
