Local Advisory Committee
The
Mechanical Universe
The Local Advisory Committee met with project personnel
every six to eight weeks to critique various telecourse components from the
point of view of the students they teach. This group was particularly involved
in the systematic review of the introductory textbooks.

Eldred Tubbs, former Professor of Physics at Harvey Mudd College, now
at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena.
Eric Woodbury, retired Chief Scientist, Hughes Electro-Optical
Engineering Division, now teaching laser physics at California State University,
Northridge.
