I am currently a PhD candidate in the department of Electrical Engineering at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) in Pasadena, California. I grew up in Vijayawada, India and graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology (Kanpur) in June 2007, with a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. During my undergraduate years, I spent the summer of 2006 as an undergraduate research fellow at Caltech and this experience motivated me to pursue graduate studies.
Funded by an Atwood fellowship, I joined the MS/PhD program at Caltech. I received M.S in Electrical Engineering in June 2008 and am presently pursuing doctoral studies under the guidance of Prof. Babak Hassibi. I passed my candidacy exam in December 2010 and expect to graduate in June 2012. Along with my graduate studies at Caltech, I spent the summer of 2010 as a summer intern in the Corporate R&D division of Qualcomm, San Diego.
