Hello, hello! I'm Zachi Tamo, a post-doc at the University of Maryland in the ECE/ISR department advised by Professor Alexander Barg. My Ph.D. was done under the guidance of Dr. Moshe Schwartz in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Ben-Gurion University (BGU). During my years as a graduate student I spent wonderful two years at the California Institute of Technology in Professor Shuki Bruck's lab in the Parallel and Distributed Systems Group, working on the design of distributed storage systems. Prior to my Ph.D. studies, I received a B.A. in Mathematics and a B.Sc. in Electrical-Engineering both from BGU (2007) in addition to working in the Israeli hi-tech industry.
