Instructors

We are fortunate to have two excellent instructors; master Helen Ming Zhu and master Lijun Wang.

Master Helen Ming Zhu

Master Helen Ming Zhu is the main Caltech Taiji instructor. She has studient martial arts for most of her life, including under grand master Tonglin Liu and grand master Tiancai Zhu. She is a 6th-generation Yang-style Taiji master and a 12th-generation Chen-style Taiji master. She has won numerous awards and competitions, including grand champion and five first-place awards at the National and International Martial Arts Tournament in San Francisco in 1996. She has been teaching Taiji since 1990 and currently teaches Taiji and Qigong at the Samura University of Oriental Medicine and Taiji at Caltech.

Master Lijun Wang

Master Lijun Wang is a 12th-generation Chen-style Taiji Master. He currently runs a martial arts school. You can read more about Master Wang here, at his school's website.
