Join the club!
Membership to the Caltech Surf & Windsurf Club is open to all Caltech students, alumni, staff, faculty and JPL employees.
This is what you need to do to join the club:

Sign up onto the Club Mailing list
All active members must be subscribed to the mailing list. The list informs you about all the events, club house tours, changes in policies and even a very useful weather forecast especially for us surfers! Click here to sign up for the mailing list. -
Read all the club policies
It is very important that you know about the policies and follow them. All changes in policies will be announced through the mailing list. You can read the club's policies here. -
Fill in the electronic membership form
Print it, sign it and bring it to the clubhouse tour together with the annual fee. -
Visit one of the club house tours
The tours are scheduled regularly, but you can always ask one of the club officers for a tour.
Annual dues
The annual fee is $10,--
Annual dues must be paid each year and are valid through September 30, regardless of date you joined the club with the following exception: for new members joining the club in the month of September, dues are valid through the end of Sept. of the following year.
Access to the clubhouse
Each October, the lock on gate to the clubhouse will be changed, and keys will only be available to current dues-paying members. Keys are available for $5,-- (non-refundable).
Summer or visitig students
Summer/visiting students must leave a $100,-- equipment deposit
Before renting equipment, all members must have attended a clubhouse tour. Read more on the equipment & renting page and in the club's policies.
