Spin-polarized noble gas

Spin-polarized noble gas has applications in both pure and applied physics. Our group is involved broadly in spin-polarized noble gas research. The 'pure' physics study is aimed at learning about the neutron spin, whereas the applied research is directed at using polarized noble gas for magnetic resonance imaging of lungs and blood.
