Working at the boundary of neuroscience and nano/micro-scale engineering, our lab focuses on the development of translational tools for monitoring electrophysiological activity in large neuronal populations with single cell and spike time resolution. Our main effort is the creation of microelectrode arrays aimed at enabling high density recordings with three spatial degrees of freedom.
