Play and Double Dummy Problems

On this page, I hope to post some Double Dummy Problems every so often.  For this, I need to wait until someone sends me some.  To submit a double dummy problem, email Roger Lee.

These are actually all from Ben Leitner.

The story behind this board:  I was playing in the last round of IMP pairs at the San Jose club with my Dad. We had just finished board 2, on which we set 2 by 1 trick.  I was therefore a bit surprised to open the scoresheet and find the results of 4 (S) making once and 6 down 1 twice.  I saw that this was the scoresheet for board 3 and we called the director.  Since we now had unauthorized information not to bid the slam, we received a no-play.  We got hand-records after and it said 6 is in fact makeable.  Can you do it? Suppose you win the A, and play a low spade to hand, ruffing low.  West thinks for a while and discards a diamond.  How do you continue?  Click here for a hint, or here for the solution.  Thanks to Matt Klimesh for the analysis of this hand.
