My research interests are in the large-scale dynamics of the atmosphere, climate change, and turbulence. I am particularly interested in the behavior of the hydrological cycle and extratropical storms in different climates.
I am currently working with Tapio Schneider. I will be an assistant professor in the Department of Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences at MIT beginning September 2008.
