Vasquez Rocks - December 9th 2007

CTOC results

Eroded sand-stone plates, volcanic masses, and distorted boulders make for dramatic scenery. It is easy to understand that Tiburcio Vasquez, an early Southern Californian bandit, was able to hide from the law in the caverns and caves of this area. Vasquez Rocks' striking scenery has also been popular with the TV and motion picture industry. Episodes of the original Star Trek, Bonanza, Planet of the Apes, and The Flintstones are just a few of the productions that have been filmed at this location.

This was the first event of the year and it was great :) Peter won the Long Orange course with an amazing time!
