How we worship – Sacraments:

What the creeds define and the commandments command, the sacraments communicate: God’s own life … and this life is in his Son.

 

 

*      Holy Eucharist (Mass)

6:00 PM Saturday evenings at Winnett Lounge (above the bookstore).

Our first Mass of the year will be on Saturday 02 October. A welcome barbecue will be held on Saturday 09 October after the 6 PM Mass.

 

 

*      Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession)

“Whoever confesses his sins … is already working with God.”

Confession is available by appointment with Fr. Eugene*.

 

 

*      Christian initiation

We have helped members of the Caltech community in their preparation for Baptism, First Communion and Confirmation. Those interested in the Catholic Faith, both Catholics who wish to live their faith more fully and non-Catholics who seek to know more about the Church are welcome to contact Fr. Eugene*.

 

 

*      Marriage Preparation

Members of the Caltech community wishing to prepare for the Sacrament of Marriage can do so with the help of Fr. Eugene*.


How we live – our spiritual lives:

 

*      Bible Study

Reading, meditation, and discussion on readings from the Scriptures. If your are interested in participating in a Bible study this year, then please contact Daniel Katz (mailto:katz@its.caltech.edu).

 

 

*      Prayer Group, Retreats, Community Service…

We also have opportunities throughout the year to meet together regularly for prayer, to make a spiritual retreat, or be involved in community service, such as helping the Missionaries of Charity to feed the poor in Los Angeles.
