Research Interest: Applying high-fidelity computational fluid dynamic (CFD) numerical techniques to simulate shock-induced bubble collapse problems in viscoelatic and non-newtonian media. Relevant problems range from biomedical therapy tools using cavitating bubbles to fractionate pathogenic tissue to naval applications where cavitation erodes drag-reducing elastomeric coatings.
Academic Interest: My academic aspirations are to bring higher education access to under-represented communities by becoming a faculty member at an R1 research university and making impact as a research scholar and influential educator. I will apply a pedagogy that combines transparent, engaging instruction with consistent, rigorous practice to ensure the students' fundamental understanding of the material.
