On 1 June 2008 Lind & Logan earned a silver in the World Cup #2 to
China 1 (gold) and USA 2 (bronze). It was quite a race - you
can watch it yourself
here(first race, starts about 10 min into the video). Lind & Logan
will be racing in the pair again at NSR III
the week of
June 9th, while continuing to work for spots on the Olympic USA W8. On
30 May 2008 Lind & Logan won their heat in the women's pair in Lucerne
Switzerland at World Cup #2. On 31 May 2008 they won their
semi-final heat!!!

In May 2008 Caroline and Elle raced in the W2- at the Munich World
cup. In the heats they finished 2nd to China #1, and made it to the
semi-finals. They won their semifinal heat qualifing with the top
semifinal time for the Finals. Ultimately, they placed 3rd in the Finals
behind China 1 and Germany 1.

In April 2008 the 2nd National Seletion Regatta was held in
Princeton, NJ. Caroline and her new pair partner Elle Logan won the W2-,
thus getting the right to go to the 2008 World Cup #1 in Munich.

During October 2007 the US National Team was at the Oklahoma City Regatta
where yesterday Caroline and Caryn won the pair 500m sprint, and today
Carline will be stroking the 8!!! The Canadian and Australian national
teams are also at this event!

In August 2007, the US National team went to World Championships in
Munich. After rough qualifiying rounds the US-8 pulled it together to
nose a win out over Romania.

The US national team entered small boats in World Cup #1 in Linz
Astria from June 1-4, 2007. Caroline was in USA #2 and placed 3rd
in the
W2-
with her new pair partner Susan. See photos here.
Now the team is back in princeton training a lot, preparing for World Cup
#3 in Lucerne, CH in July, and then World Championships in Munich, Germany
in August.

At world championships in Eaton England in August 2006 the US
womens' 8-boat broke the world record by 1 second. Earlier in the summer
at the world-cup in Lucerne,
the boat got 2nd to Romania. Caroline also raced at the Henley
in July 2006, where the USA Women's 8 boat won and broke the course record
by 6 seconds.
