About me
I am a PIRE postdoctoral scholar in the Graduate Aerospace Laboratories (GALCIT). I am a member of the Computational Solid Mechanics Group directed by Prof. Michael Ortiz.
In May 2009, I obtained my Ph.D. in Mathematics from Tufts University where I worked with Prof. Misha Kilmer. The dissertation title is "Multilevel Methods for Discrete Ill-Posed Problems: Application to Deblurring" (pdf).
I studied Licenciatura (B.Sc.) in Mathematics at Universidad de Buenos Aires.
My research interests are in the areas of computational and applied mathematics, and in particular in numerical analysis and numerical linear algebra. My current research consists of designing and analyzing numerical methods for problems arising in solid mechanics and materials science. For more details go to Research.
Here is my CV.
News
I will give a talk on my research in the AWM Workshop
which will be held in conjunction with the 2012 SIAM Annual Meeting, July 9-13, 2012 in Minneapolis, MN.
