Dr. Tiffany Meshkat

I am an Assistant Research Scientist at IPAC/Caltech where I study the direct imaging of extrasolar planets. My astronomical research focuses on understanding giant exoplanet formation through high contrast imaging. I have recently focused on the correlation between giant exoplanets and debris disks, and what this implies for exoplanet-disk interactions. As a member of the WFIRST coronagraph instrument team, I contribute to the data processing pipeline and community proposal tools.

Before this, I was an Exoplanetary Science Initiatve Postdoctoral Fellow at JPL/Caltech, working with Gautam Vasisht and Dimitri Mawet.

I did my PhD work at Leiden Observatory with Matthew Kenworthy.
