Hi! Welcome to my website. These days, I'm back in L.A. as a Ph.D. student in neotectonics, or earthquake geology, at Caltech. I'm interested in earthquakes and faults, and my current research focuses on different aspects of earthquake cycles and fault behavior. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in geology from Caltech in 2000, and just received a Master's degree in geology from San Diego State University. My Ph.D. thesis is focused on the December 2004 and March 2005 southeast Asian earthquakes, and the long-term behavior of Simeulue island at the boundary of those two giant ruptures.
After abandoning my old web site for months, I've finally given it an overhaul, but somehow I have a feeling it's going to be a while before I make it back again.... In any case, enjoy what's here while it's current, and if it seems like it's been a while since I've touched my webpage, e-mail me to find out what's going on!
