Caltech
I am a postdoctoral researcher in the GPS Division at Caltech.
Research Interests
I am interested in applying mathematical modeling, geochemistry, and plant physiology in order to reconstruct the physiology of extinct plants. I have focused on reconstructing a group of extinct Paleozoic seed plants from North America and Europe that contain unusual anatomical features. More information may be found on the Research page.
Plants are at an important interface between the atmosphere and the biosphere; reconstructing their function is critical to understanding how changes in the former can affect the latter.
