Johannes Pollanen

I'm a postdoc working with Prof. Jim Eisenstein. My primary interest is to explore the exotic properties of low dimensional electron systems at extremely low temperatures (~1 mK). I'm also a member of the Institute for Quantum Information and Matter here at Caltech.

Before coming to Caltech I studied superfluid 3He in the presence of quenched disorder as a graduate student with Prof. Bill Halperin in the Low Temperature Physics Group at Northwestern University.

If you'd like to know more about low dimensional electrons or ultra low temperature physics, please feel free to contact me at the email address listed at the top of the page.
