  I am studying DNA-mediated electron transfer as a mechanism for damage detection by DNA repair enzymes that contain a redox cofactor. To investigate this phenomenon, we use a variety of techniques ranging from electrochemistry at DNA-modified electrodes to laser spectroscopy and microbiology assays.
