Justine Chia

Hello! My name is Justine, and I am an undergraduate at Caltech. Although I am a student in chemical engineering, most of my research has been in the field of immunology, studying Type 1 Diabetes. When I'm not busy with my academic work, I enjoy playing chamber music and learning languages. I run and swim for Caltech. I love hiking, running, and swimming because they allow me to explore and appreciate the great outdoors. Anywhere and anytime, good food and good company are integral to my life. Being a part of HKSA enables me to practise my Cantonese and meet a variety of people while being immersed in different aspects of Hong Kong culture.
