El lugar designado es el gimnasio Santiago, ubicado en la calle Santiago Nx 360 entre las calles Lord Cocrane y Nataniel a unas cuatro cuadras de la EstaciUn Parque O Higgins de la linea Nx 2 del Metro.

Nuestro campeonato se realizara al igual que sus actividades anexas segxn el programa que en esta oportunidad les doy a conocer. Aprovecho la oportunidad para ofrecerle mi Dojang, si necesita un lugar de alojamiento, para lo que sus alumnos deberxn traer su respectivo saco de dormir, si otro por otro lugar de hospedaje hagalo saber con anticipacion si desea que le contacte (existen lugares en que los precios fluctuan entre $5.500 por persona)

19.45 hrs. Clinica de arbitrajes, Participacion obligatoria para Danes, ademas podren participar Gup avanzados, adultos y apoderados colaboradores.
21.00  hrs. Termino de actividades oficiales.

Congratulations to the Chilean studios of the World Tang Soo Do Association for hosting the 1997 WTSDA South American Championship and associated events December 5-6-7, 1997. Special recognition is in order for the Santiago Black Belt team headed by Master Victor Jara. Participants included teams from Coyhaique Chile, Puerto Aysen, Chile, Concepcion, Chile, Buin, Chile, Mar Del Plata, Argentina, Buenos Aires, Argentina, Catamarca, Argentina, Villa, Gesell, Argentina, La Paz, Bolivia and Arequipa, Peru. Special guests were Grand Master Jae C. Shin from Philadelphia, USA, Regional Director Master Larry Dercole from San Diego, USA and Captian Jorge Osess of the Chilean Ministry of Defense.

This marked the first time for Chile to host the WTSDA South American Championship. Our perpetual Championship CUP winner was Sr. Carlos
Alberto Gomez Cho DAN from Mr. Walter Serapio's Studio in Mar Del Plata, Argentina.

This is a bi-annual event, the next one to be held in December 1999. The locaation is still undecided but cities under consideration are La Paz,
Bolivia, Santiago, Chile and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
