Access is available only from Caltech 131.215.x.x networked computers, or from Caltech VPN clients. 1) Right-click on My Network Places, and select the menu item, Map Network Drive. 2) For the purpose of exposition, suppose you want to access the computer named Katz, and that your account is HAL-LAB\bbeaver. Then, in the dialogue box, specify Drive: (any drive letter) Folder: \\Katz\Users and then click on the blue link, "Connect using a different user name" In the "Connect As" dialogue box which appears, specify User name: HAL-LAB\bbeaver Password: (your HAL-LAB domain password) then click OK. Then click on the Finish button to complete Map Network Drive, and a window should appear displaying the contents of C:\Users. ---Pam
