Periodic error messages occur if any hard drive has less than
200 MB of free space, such as when a USB thumb drive is attached.
When space drops below 80 MB, the error window remains visible for
30 seconds.
 
Regedit
  HKEY_CURRENT _USER\ Software\Microsoft\Windows\
    CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

  Create new DWORD
    NoLowDiskSpaceChecks
  with value 1.
