To configure your Mac OS 9 computer for DHCP and AppleTalk on the
campus Ethernet, use

Apple|Control Panels

  TCP/IP
    Connect via:  Ethernet
    Configure:  Using DHCP Server
    Search domains:  caltech.edu

    Note:  Advanced options may also need configuration.  Open
	   Edit|User Mode|Administration
	     Options
	       Make TCP/IP
		 Active
		 Deselect "Load only when needed"

  AppleTalk
    Connect via:  Ethernet
    Current zone:  (default)

    Note:  Other options may be revealed by selecting the menu item,
	   Edit|User Mode|Administration
	     Options
	       Make AppleTalk:  Active
