Professor Ken Pickar Interesting Article: Marketing High Tech Check out the reading section for the previous interesting posts! This course will guide you through the entreprenurial process. Beginning with a good idea, preferably from a Caltech technology (we'll supply one if you wish), you will form a Team (we can supply that too), learn how to protect intellectual property, how to determine market feasibility, how to create a business model, how to write a financial plan, how the capital markets for new ventures work, how to gain the most through outsourcing and partnerships. Skilled Mentors will be assigned to each Team. There will be ample opportunities to hone your presentation skills, learn team skills, exercise your ingenuity, and possible to create new value.
