Undergraduate: I did my undergraduate at
the
University
of Texas in Arlington. I received a BS in mathematics
in 2000. I minored in physics
and was a member of the theoretical physics group at UT Arlington (at
least
my office was located there). My work was with Nail
Fazleev and John Fry.
We thought about nodal sets of eigenfunctions for Hamiltonians and
their symmetries.
Graduate:
I was
graduate
student in mathematics at the
University
of Texas. My advisor was the one and only Alan Reid.
Post-Graduate:
I was a postdoc at the California Institute of Technology (Cal
Tech). My official title was Olga
Taussky and John Todd instructor. I am now an NSF/Dickson Instructor at
the University of Chicago. My scientific advisor is Benson Farb.
