Bridge: It's not just for old folks!
Bridge is a great game. I learned how to play when I took a beginners class
(the infamous Club Series from the ACBL) with my father. I was in 7th grade, I think. Since I have a natural penchant for
games, I found the game quite engaging. I played off and on for a while, and
taught some of my friends to play when I reached high school. For most of my
4 year tenure at Lewis and Clark High School, we would play bridge every day at lunch. When I got to Wabash,
my chances to play diminished significantly. Now that I'm at
Caltech, however,
I play at the weekly bridge club.
