  • Started computer recycling program with the Y

  • Off campus housing recycling
  • Recycling facilities at conferences/parties/outdoor events
  • better facilities
  • more cooperation/responsibility of users
  • Delmy needs outreach to achieve above
  • Dining needs to implement a recycling program
• Paper Usage
  We've Done:
  • Promoted/created e-mail flyer system
  • Gotten recycled paper sold at equal cost to virgin
  There's a Need for:
  • Double sided copiers
  • Greater usage of recycled paper
  • less $$$ for e-flyiers, removal of directory@cco
  • ability to request copies double-sided, two pages to a page

  • Promoted Xeriscaping
  Campus has Done:
  • Tested drip watering (outside BI/Lura)
  • Installed moisture meters in atheltic fields
  • Xeriscaped Holliston parking structure (later removed & planted with grass)

  • Reduced water usage
  • Reduced pesticide usage
  • Less annoying leaf blowers

  We've Done:
  • (attempted) Env. Audit
  There's a Need for:
  • Audits
  • Effective recycling program
  • Low Flush toilets
  • Earth-friendly cleaning supplies (do I understand that this is now the case?)
• Transportation
  We've Done:
  • Asked for more bike racks
  Campus Has:
  • Rideshare program
  • Put in bikeracks
  There's a Need for:
  • More bikeracks (a trend here?)
  • Less cars on campus (security especially!)
• Education
  We've Done
  • Earth Day Fair
  • Brought speakers to campus
  There's a Need for:
  • Orientation - students, staff^¿
  • A directive compelling staff to consider the environmental impact(s) of their work
