Research Goals and Themes
Through my research I seek to understand the processes resulting in petrologic and geochemical diversity of igneous rocks in both space and time. Currently, my efforts are broadly focused on understanding the formation of the continental crust and how variability in conditions at the surface of the Earth may be chemicaly imprinted on the igneous record.
As my research is motivated by questions rather than the application of a single methodology, my general approach is through field-based petrologic studies that are complemented by a wide variety of geochemical analyses, geochronology, and modeling.
I encourage you to check out my publications page or Google Scholar profile to see results from my research.
