Since May 2005, I am a post-doctoral researcher at the California Institute of Technology in the research group of Hideo Mabuchi. My research concentrates on the theoretical and mathematical aspects of quantum filtering and feedback control. I did a PhD with Hans Maassen at the Mathematical Institute of the University of Nijmegen (The Netherlands). The theme of the research was to apply quantum probability to problems in quantum optics. As a graduate student I spent some time in the group of Howard Carmichael, then still at the University of Oregon (USA). Shortly after completing the PhD, I have been a post-doctoral researcher in the group of Slava Belavkin at the University of Nottingham (UK).
