Research Interests
My undergraduate research, which focused on modifying surface topography to control cell-surface interactions of implants, fueled my interest in improving medical technology. I’m specifically interested in point-of-care testing and its potential to reduce time to diagnosis. I hope to contribute to this area through the novel optical techniques explored by the Biophotonics Laboratory.
