me Welcome to the website of Brad Dickerson. I am currently an NSF Postdoctoral Research Fellow and California Alliance AGEP Fellow in Michael Dickinson's lab at Caltech. I conducted my graduate work in Tom Daniel's lab at the University of Washington. My research is at the interface of neurobiology, biomechanics, and behavior and uses insect flight combined with state-of-the-art genetic and imaging techniques to understand the relationship between locomotion and neural circuit function.

News: Last summer, as a TA for the MBL's Neural Systems & Behavior course, I helped make a short video about using fly flight as a model for sensorimotor processing. Thanks to Blue Paper Filmworks, it's now up and beautiful. Enjoy!
