BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE LEVELS
Modern Jive Workshops

With professional instructor SIMON COSTAIN, guru on loan from Australia.

Introductory/intermediate workshop: February 7, from 8:00 - 9:00pm
Intermediate routine: February 7, from 9:15 - 10:15pm
Located in Winnett Lounge.
Cost:
$5 per workshop for students (with ID);
$10 per workshop for everyone else
&bull We're going to have one last night of workshops before Simon leaves home for Australia. There will be two workshops, back to back. The introductory/intermediate workshop will be from 8-9 p.m., followed by an intermediate routine from 9:15-10:15 p.m.; naturally, there will be dancing in between and afterward.

We'll be starting off with in intro-mediate class - which is a great bridge between beginner and intermediate. I noticed many of you are now well beyond the beginner level so I'll be putting in some fun moves that we can all enjoy then.

Then, we'll have an intermediate routine, working off some of the principles we learned in the previous class. It will be challenging, yet very achievable. The whole night will have a focus on not only moves that are lead able in freestyle, but how to lead and follow correctly to avoid those awkward moments (even though they're the moments that make dancing fun).

Try to come down for both classes, if you can, as we'll be incorporating and expanding on the moves we learned in the first class... 8pm... don't be late!! Bring your friends, your partner and anyone that wants to move!
