APSU MISSION STATEMENT
The Asian Pacific Student Union was founded in 1995 with the mission to promote inter-cultural interaction between our member groups and membership and to educate the Caltech community concerning the issues faced by Asian and Asian American students at Caltech.
APSU has played an active role in supporting our International Asian and Asian American students by introducing Asian students to the various support services available to them, organizing cultural events, and facilitating cross-cultural discussions.
Comprised of undergraduate students, graduate students, and various Caltech staff, APSU acts in the capacity of an umbrella organization that works both independently of and in conjunction with the various Asian student organizations on campus.
Current APSU member groups include the Caltech C, Caltech Chinese Student Association, Caltech Korean Student Association, and OASIS. Membership is free and open to all members of the Caltech community.
