Mt. Winchell trip, October 2006
Though we didn't summit, we had a good time backpacking and enjoying the fall and winter-like weather in the Palisades. We hiked to the Palisade Glacier (around 12,500') Sunday morning in temperatures in the mid 20s (F). Saturday night was at Sam Mack Meadow (~11,000') and Friday night was at the trailhead (7,800').
